Job summary

Omexom Uk is seeking a Project Engineer to work closely with Design Engineers to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of HV substation projects. You will coordinate design activities, manage resources, and support tendering and client interfaces.

You will engage with clients, attend meetings, and travel as required, while maintaining commercial targets and process improvements across the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, to include spoken and written.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration skills, and people skills.
• Exceptional focus.
• Good commercial awareness with ability to monitor and accurately report performance against pre-determined targets.
• Experience and understanding of working within contract terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Represent Omexom professionally in project situations with stakeholders.
• Assist with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures compliance.
• Coordinate design activities, resources, materials and equipment.
• Act as a point of contact for design engineers and clients to ensure delivery of planned productivity.
• Assist with programme development and resource planning.
• Represent Omexom at client meetings.
• Assist with the tendering process and bid returns to timescales.
• Assist with site and client interfaces and manage project costs and income.
• Provide technical support to engineering team and seek process improvements.
• Interact with client personnel to ensure cooperation on projects.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors and consultants; travel as required.
• Develop reports for Engineering team.
