Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a High Voltage Manager to oversee HV infrastructure across solar, battery storage and wind sites, driving planning, execution and reporting with a strong emphasis on HSE.

The role requires coordinating with DNOs, National Grid and site managers, managing contractor safety and HV O&M plans, and serving as the primary HV network interface for asset management and operations.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering required.
• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH) preferred.
• SAP PM/MM knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety and environmental management on HV systems.
• Manage contractor safety reviews and TAM responsibilities.
• Prepare, review and implement HV O&M plans for accountable sites.
• Act as primary HV interface with asset management, site managers and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Oversee HV maintenance contractors and ensure critical devices are operable.
• Support HV system designs and future developments.
• Assist tendering activities for HV infrastructure.
