Job summary

An educational recruitment agency is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to take on a long-term role starting in January. Based near Scunthorpe, this role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons for KS3 & KS4 students until Easter. The successful candidate must hold QTS and specialize in History, Geography, RE, or Humanities. An enhanced DBS and experience in secondary education are also required. Job description

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an engaging, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to work in a long‑term role starting in January. The school is located on the outskirts of Scunthorpe and easily accessible from public transport and car.

The position will involve planning, preparing, and delivering KS3 & KS4 lessons full‑time until Easter.

The responsibilities of the role, include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high‑quality lessons in Humanities.
  • Motivating pupils to engage and participate in the subject.
  • Uphold Safeguarding and Behavioural policies.
  • Collaborate with the team and contribute ideas to help students succeed.

During your time at Tradewind Recruitment, we will support you with CPD trainings through the National College which gives you access to over 2,000 CPD courses! We will also provide you with a consultant that will take care of your needs.

The position can be paid to scale and range from .62.
