Job summary

Forward Role is partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced HR Shared Services Manager on a 6-month FTC in the UK. You will lead HR Shared Services and compliance teams, overseeing end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle processes across a fast-paced environment.

You will drive process improvement, automation and governance, collaborating with HR, Payroll, IT, and Information Security while shaping how the function scales and delivers an outstanding employee

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in HR Shared Services or HR Operations.
• Strong knowledge of UK immigration, Right to Work and sponsorship.
• Experience with compliance, governance, audits, and regulatory obligations.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement and operational transformation.
• Experience leading teams in complex or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

This is a key leadership role overseeing HR Shared Services leading teams responsible for HR operations, employee lifecycle administration, immigration, data privacy, regulatory compliance and service delivery across a complex, fast-paced environment.

You'll be responsible for ensuring an outstanding employee experience while driving operational excellence, strengthening governance and identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes. Working closely with HR, Payroll, HR Systems, IT, Finance and Risk teams, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how the function operates and scales.

What you'll be doing:

About you:

• Proven leadership experience within HR Shared Services, HR Operations or a similar service-delivery environment
• Strong knowledge of UK immigration, Right to Work and sponsorship requirements
• Experience managing compliance, governance, audit and regulatory obligations
• A track record of delivering continuous improvement and operational transformation
• Strong HR systems capability, with Oracle HCM experience desirable
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams within a complex or regulated environment
