Job summary

Forward Role, partnering with a global organisation, is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Manager in Birmingham on a 6-month FTC. You will lead HR Shared Services and Compliance teams, drive end-to-end HR operations, immigration and data privacy, and partner with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance and Risk to scale service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership in HR Shared Services or HR Operations.
• Strong knowledge of UK immigration, Right to Work and sponsorship requirements.
• Experience managing compliance, governance, audit and regulatory obligations.
• Track record of continuous improvement and operational transformation.
• HR systems capability, Oracle HCM desirable.
• Experience leading high-performing teams in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Shared Services and HR Compliance teams.

Forward Role are partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced HR Shared Services Manager on a 6-month FTC.

This is a key leadership role overseeing HR Shared Services leading teams responsible for HR operations, employee lifecycle administration, immigration, data privacy, regulatory compliance and service delivery across a complex, fast-paced environment.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring an outstanding employee experience while driving operational excellence, strengthening governance and identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes. Working closely with HR, Payroll, HR Systems, IT, Finance and Risk teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the function operates and scales.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading HR Shared Services and HR Compliance teams

• Proven leadership experience within HR Shared Services, HR Operations or a similar service-delivery environment
• Strong knowledge of UK immigration, Right to Work and sponsorship requirements
• Experience managing compliance, governance, audit and regulatory obligations
• A track record of delivering continuous improvement and operational transformation
• Strong HR systems capability, with Oracle HCM experience desirable
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams within a complex or regulated environment
