HR Business Partner

Region: Midlands > South

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 plus excellent benefits

We’re seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to support operational teams across the Midlands & South. This visible, hands-on role at the heart of the business offers the opportunity to drive impact through strong relationships, HR expertise, and understanding of local needs.

The Role

Embedded within your region, you will partner with functional leaders to deliver a people strategy that enhances performance, protects profitability, and supports safe, engaged workplaces. Your responsibilities include workforce planning, organisational design, and employee relations, acting as the key link between the business and the wider People function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of people plans aligned with regional business priorities.
  • Shape organisational design and job levelling for operational effectiveness.
  • Guide and coach line managers through the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases proactively.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Expertise and Shared Services to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Represent your region in HR projects, engagement initiatives, and policy development.
About You

You are a confident HR generalist thriving in fast-paced, operational environments. You are commercially savvy, credible with senior stakeholders, and capable of balancing strategic and tactical delivery.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a regional or multi-site HRBP role.
  • Knowledge of employment law, ER, TUPE, and change management.
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills, especially with operational leaders.
  • Proactive, practical mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience navigating union relationships.
  • Passion for creating positive, performance-led cultures.
