HR Assistant

Location: Leicester | Hybrid/Flexible Working Available

Hours: Full-time (35 hrs/week) or Part-time considered

Salary: £28,000 - 30,000 + additional benefits

SF Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected professional services company who has a longstanding, loyal client base to find a proactive and personable HR Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a people-focused business undergoing an exciting period of digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, manage holiday requests, and support HR documentation.
  • Assist with the rollout and ongoing use of the Sage People HR system, including supporting three new modules going live.
  • Support the wider HR team on wellbeing, compliance, and policy development initiatives.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration and onboarding processes.
  • Provide day-to-day admin and operational support to ensure smooth HR service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an HR admin or coordinator role ( minimum 2 years’ experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using HR systems (HRIS), ideally Sage People.
  • Good understanding of core HR processes such as part-time holiday calculations, flexible working requests, and employment documentation.
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable – a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
