You will support the UK&I Archives Manager in providing heritage services to MDLZ UK&I business stakeholders, including internal teams (CGA, Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing), customers, trade associations, and media. Additionally, you will collaborate with external heritage partners such as community groups, universities, and the public. You will also deliver a daily Media Monitor tracking service to business leadership.

The Archives Assistant role is key to the successful operation of the Archives facility within the Corporate and Government Affairs (CGA) function. The UK Archives, refurbished with a £350,000 investment to celebrate Cadbury’s 200-year milestone in 2024, houses historical artifacts, documents, and memorabilia illustrating Cadbury's evolution. It hosts nearly 100 visits annually from media, politicians, agencies, and customers, serving as a platform to tell our story and enhance our reputation.

How You Will Contribute

Major Activities - Archives
  • Research and respond to heritage inquiries, internal and external, to protect and enhance Mondelez International’s reputation in the UK and Ireland.
  • Assist with archive visits, sharing heritage information verbally and through formal talks.
  • Maintain relationships with external heritage partners such as universities and community groups.
  • Catalogue archive materials using web-based applications, including creating catalog records, digitizing images, updating timelines, and organizing physical materials.
Major Activities – Political and Media Engagement, and Monitoring
  • Prepare the Archives to host visits from political and media stakeholders.
  • Provide daily Media Monitor email alerts covering news and press articles relevant to the business.
  • Produce a weekly news summary report every Friday.
  • Source and distribute articles on corporate, trade, and local news as requested.
Other Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assist with budget, expenses, and purchasing tasks.
  • Respond to calls and emails, managing queries and requests.
  • Manage archiving and filing in compliance with statutory and company policies.
  • Complete reports and maintain systems and data, undertaking additional projects as needed.
What You Will Bring

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proactive attitude, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
