HR Assistant

Remote, Fixed Term Contract 4 months

Plan B Talent Ltd are looking for a proactive, curious, and solution-focused HR Assistant to join our client's People Team on a 4-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad HR experience in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the HR function across the full employee lifecycle; from onboarding and payroll to employee queries, system updates, and offboarding. We need someone who can hit the ground running, adapt quickly to new ways of working, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to everything they do.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee changes, and leavers.
  • Support with the accurate processing of monthly payroll, working closely with the finance team and external providers.
  • Keep HR systems up to date and ensure data accuracy.
  • Respond to general HR and people related queries.
  • Work closely with the Head of Talent to ensure new starter paperwork is processed efficiently and employees receive a positive pre-onboarding experience,
  • Assist with HR reporting, admin tasks, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure all data handling complies with GDPR and internal data protection policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced HR or People team.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it).
  • Highly organised, numerate, and detail-oriented as the role will require you to manage data at times.
  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and platforms.
  • Adaptable, curious, and open to learning new processes and tools quickly.
  • A proactive team player with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with care.
