Job summary

Novo Executive Search is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a fixed-term contract in Birmingham until December 2026. The role sits within a busy People team, providing practical HR support across employee relations, recruitment, administration, and engagement initiatives.

We welcome hands-on HR professionals who can coach managers, manage cases end-to-end and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This FTC offers a dynamic pathway during a growth period.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years' experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
• Proven employee relations experience managing cases from start to finish.
• Experience coaching and influencing managers at different levels.
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate people data.
• Practical, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys building relationships, solving people challenges and making a genuine impact across a business?

We are partnering with a successful and growing organisation to appoint an HR Advisor on a fixed term contract through to December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on HR professional to join a busy People team and play a key role during an exciting period of growth and change.

This is a varied generalist position requiring strong employee relations expertise, alongside involvement in recruitment, HR administration, people projects, employee engagement and training initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and employees across the organisation, providing practical and commercially focused HR support.

The Opportunity

Working as part of a collaborative HR team, you will:
