Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to cover maternity leave at a precision engineering manufacturer in the UK. The role focuses on day-to-day HR advice, employee relations and policy implementation.

Working Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:00, you will support line managers, monitor HR data and assist with workforce planning, ensuring compliant, fair people practices across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or equivalent in a similar setting.
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and best practices.
• CIPD qualification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to employees and line managers, ensuring fairness.
• Support development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Monitor and analyse HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning activities.
• Build strong relationships across the site and work with managers and staff.

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to employees and Line Managers, ensuring a consistent and fair approach to people-related matters.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies and procedures in line with business requirements and employment legislation.
• Monitor and analyse HR data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement across areas such as absence, employee relations, recruitment and retention.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning activities
• Build strong relationships across the site, working collaboratively with managers and employees
