Job summary

Owen Daniels in Derby is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to cover a maternity leave on a 17-month fixed-term contract. The role requires a strong generalist background and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will provide day-to-day HR guidance, support policy development, data analysis and employee relations, with a focus on absence, recruitment and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as HR Advisor.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of UK employment legislation.
• CIPD qualification desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to employees and line managers.
• Support development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Monitor and analyse HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning activities.
• Build strong relationships across the site with managers and employees.

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to employees and Line Managers, ensuring a consistent and fair approach to people-relatedmatters.
• Support the developmentand implementation ofHR initiatives, policiesand procedures inline with businessrequirements and employmentlegislation.
• Monitor and analyse HR data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement across areas such as absence, employee relations,recruitment and retention.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning activities
• Build strong relationships across the site, working collaboratively with managers andemployees

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Strong experience working at HR Advisor level
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• CIPD qualification is highly desirable but not needed
