Job summary

Isabella's Homes is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to support the Human Resources department in the West Midlands. You will manage the HR inbox and phoneline, maintain employee records, and assist with contracts, letters and payroll tasks.

Ideal candidates will have strong organisation, knowledge of employment law basics, and proficient MS Office skills. CIPD Level 3 or progress towards it is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of employment law and ER best practices.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR inbox and phoneline as first point of contact.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Prepare and review contracts, letters, and documents.
  • Support payroll and ER processes with data and notes.

Pay: £25,420.00-£26,000.00 per year

Job description: Join One of the UK's Fastest Growing Supported Living Providers Isabella's Homes is an award-winning specialist supported living provider supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, and other complex needs across the West Midlands and South East. Following significant growth, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious HR Administrator to support the Human Resources department.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Management of the HR inbox and phoneline which is the first point of contact for general queries
  • Ensuring queries are responded to within efficient timescales and identifying high priority emails which need to be escalated appropriately
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ER and Recruitment systems
  • Prepare and review HR documentation, such as Contracts of Employment, Offer Letters, Absence Review Invites, Maternity confirmation letters
  • Conduct calls with company leavers to support employee retention strategies
  • Issue company feedback surveys, collate data, and prepare results to be shared with senior stakeholders
  • Support formal ER meetings through the provision of clear and accurate notetaking
  • Provide administrative support to the management team
  • Responding to reference request for current and previous employees
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required

Essentials
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Foundational knowledge of employment law and ER best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excel and word applications
  • Capable of generate reports and data when required
Desirable
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Experience within the Social Care sector is advantageous but not a necessity
