Job summary

Cardiff Council in Cardiff's West Hub Team is seeking a committed, customer-focused individual to support Hub and Library services. The role involves assisting with daily duties, using digital systems, and delivering friendly customer care.

This part-time, temporary position offers flexible working arrangements, access to generous leave, LGPS pension, training opportunities, and wellbeing support. Weekend/evening rota is required; Welsh language skills are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer care skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
• Fluency or willingness to learn Welsh is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a full Hub/Library service and carry out general office duties including using digital systems.
• Support customers to resolve enquiries and provide customer-focused delivery of Hub & Library services and information provision.
• Assist with provision of high-quality service, including supporting events held within the Hubs & Libraries.
