Job summary

E-ACT Ousedale School is seeking an enthusiastic Hub ICT Technician to join our school ICT team. You will be the frontline on the ICT Helpdesk, resolving requests within agreed timescales and keeping assets and documentation up to date.

The role requires 5 GCSEs incl. English and Maths, plus an ICT qualification or equivalent experience. You’ll design spreadsheets and databases, prioritise workload, and work across a trusted network within our national trust.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Recognised ICT qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to design and set up spreadsheets and databases.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate ICT Helpdesk and resolve requests within service timescales.
• Maintain accurate inventories and asset registers for hardware and software.
• Provide first- and second-line ICT support, escalating to suppliers when needed.
• Follow E-ACT policies on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
