Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking a self-motivated Health & Safety professional with 7–10+ years in an industrial HSE role to lead risk assessments, promote a proactive safety culture, and drive compliance across UK operations.

You will mentor teams, conduct audits, summarize safety data for executives, and support change management during facilities modifications. A NEBOSH Diploma is essential, plus a driving license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in an industrial Health & Safety function.
• NEBOSH Diploma is essential.
• Technical education (e.g. Bachelors in Engineering or Chemistry) or relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of HSE, Process Risk, IMS, and industrial auditing.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative and quantitative risk assessments (HAZOP/LOPA).
• Champion a proactive safety culture across UK operations.
• Facilitate and improve the Industrial Management System (IMS) and conduct audits.
• Synthesize data into predictive safety metrics for executive reporting.
• Lead incident investigations (RCA) and oversee corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, management and contractors to ensure HSE standards.
