Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Transport Manager to oversee terminal-based vehicle operations and drive safety and compliance within the Southwest region. You will lead site drivers, manage transport compliance, and coordinate with logistics to ensure smooth LPG movement from Hallen Terminal.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be responsible for maintaining records, driver hours, tachographs, and safety investigations, while playing a key

Qualifications

• Must have Manager CPC qualification in Road Transport.
• Experience in the management of drivers.
• Must hold a full driving licence.
• Flexible and willing to work additional hours, including some weekend work.
• Ability to work in a team or on own initiative.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have a positive attitude towards safety.

Responsibilities

• Effectively Managing drivers working at the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
• Supporting safe management in accordance with the Safety Management system to meet compliance and driving a safety culture.
• Adhering with transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, driver’s hours and tachograph regulations and ensuring records are up to date.
• Complying to operating procedures and works instructions.
• Professional and positive approach to drive effective team working.
• Experience of working in a high paced, dynamic environment.
