Job summary

HSE Recruitment is seeking an HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental practices at a global manufacturer’s site in Aston, Birmingham. This permanent role offers £60,000 to £65,000 per annum and will mentor one direct report to develop their professional competence.

You will drive environmental compliance, risk mitigation and strategic safety initiatives across a high‑risk facility, reporting into the Plant Director while collaborating with a European HSE Manager and the American

Qualifications

• Diploma in Health and Safety required.
• Proven leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience developing and mentoring an advisor.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental practices at the Aston site.
• Drive environmental compliance, risk mitigation and strategic safety initiatives.
• Provide hands-on leadership and mentor one direct report to build competence.
• Collaborate with European HSE Manager and the US parent company.
