Job summary

HSE Recruitment partners with a global manufacturing business to appoint an HSE Manager for a site in Aston, Birmingham. The role demands hands-on leadership to drive a zero-harm culture and high safety standards across a fast-paced site.

You will report to the Plant Director, work with a European HSE Manager and the American parent company, and mentor an early-career advisor while handling CAPEX, environmental duties and fire risk strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing, mentoring and training an HSE advisor.
• Strong ability to drive cultural change and zero-harm initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead site HSE compliance across all operations.
• Report day-to-day to Plant Director and collaborate with European HSE Manager and US parent.
• Manage environmental requirements, emergency planning, CAPEX projects and fire risk strategies.
• Develop and mentor an HSE advisor and ensure high safety standards.
