Job summary

Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Manager for a fast-moving FMCG site in the East Midlands. You will own the HSE strategy, ensure legal compliance and embed a strong safety culture across manufacturing operations.

You will lead audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement, collaborating with the Site Leadership Team and the wider European HSE network to drive performance and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience operating within fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record delivering HSE strategy and improvements.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy and compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies and management systems.
• Deliver HSE training and coach managers across the site.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with European HSE network to share best practice.
