Job summary

HSE Recruitment is seeking an HSE Manager to lead safety operations at a global manufacturing site in Birmingham, Aston. This permanent role offers a salary between £60,000 and £65,000 per annum and requires driving a zero-harm culture across the organization.

You will oversee environmental requirements, emergency management, CAPEX projects and fire risk prevention strategies while reporting to the Plant Director and coordinating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification in Health & Safety required.
• Experience leading HSE teams in industrial manufacturing.
• Resilient, assertive leader capable of handling pressure and push back.

Responsibilities

• Manage one early-career advisor; mentor and develop potential.
• Lead health and safety compliance across the site.
• Report to Plant Director; coordinate with European HSE Manager and parent company.
• Oversee CAPEX projects, fire risk prevention, emergency management and environmental requirements.
