Steatite Ltd is hiring an HSE Advisor based at our Leominster site. You will drive health, safety and environmental performance by promoting a proactive safety culture, conducting risk assessments, and leading investigations.

You’ll work with engineering, manufacturing and operations to assure compliance with UK laws and ISO standards, deliver toolbox talks, and support external audits. This role requires on-site presence and cross-site flexibility.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous HSE experience within an engineering, manufacturing, production or workshop environment.
• Sound working knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Practical experience conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence operational teams and management.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to work independently.
• Flexibility to work across multiple sites, with a minimum of three days per week based in Leominster.
• Experience supporting HSE activities across multiple operational locations.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Experience preparing for or supporting internal and external audits.
• Experience delivering toolbox talks, safety training or employee engagement initiatives.
• Understanding of environmental management systems and compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Champion safe working practices across our sites in collaboration with operational teams.
• Keep us compliant with UK health, safety and environmental laws and internal policies.
• Identify and reduce risks through inspections, risk assessments and audits.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Support management systems including external audits and ISO compliance.
• Monitor HSE performance, identify trends and drive improvements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to educate staff.
• Contribute to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) related HSE activities and wider improvements.
