Job summary

RecXchange Portal LLC is recruiting an experienced HSE Advisor to join a large 24/7 manufacturing operation in Essex.

This hands-on, site-based role focuses on health, safety and environmental performance, driving the site safety strategy and building a strong safety culture with operational teams.

The role involves audits, incident investigations, contractor management, ISO 45001 and 14001 frameworks, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in site-based manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and standards.
• Experience with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Experience managing contractors and permit-to-work systems.
• Knowledge of occupational health surveillance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support site HSE strategy and safety improvement plan.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate environmental and occupational health considerations.
• Lead site HSE meetings and risk working groups.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and external audits.
