Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd seeks a Health, Safety & Environmental Senior Adviser to lead HSE leadership across a 80km transmission & distribution project in the Scottish Highlands. You will drive proactive safety culture, oversee RAMS, permits, and incidents, and work with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to improve HSE performance.

The role is site-based in Alness, Scotland, reporting to the HSE Lead.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in HSE advisory on major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Experience in leading HSE assurance programmes across complex sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support HSE leadership across project activities to ensure safe delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations.
• Review RAMS, monitor permit-to-work and critical risk activities.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Coach and develop HSE Advisers and site teams.
