Job summary

EKFB, delivering HS2 works in Southam, is seeking a Site Engineer to join the Earthworks team on site. You will be responsible for setting-out, supervision of junior engineers and coordination with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to maintain quality, programme and budget.

You will oversee labours, plant, and materials on site, resolve technical problems with the senior team, and coordinate subcontractors to meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• CSCS card at required level for on-site role (White/Yellow/Red/Black/Gold).
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities on civil works.
• Experience in earthworks is essential for this position.
• You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site setting-out activities and supervise junior engineers.
• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to works.
• Lead on-site engineering tasks to ensure standards, programme and budget adherence.
• Support development of junior engineers and resolve technical problems with senior team and Sub-Agent.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to meet contractual requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with production of programmes, progress reports, resource plans and cost forecasting.
