Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Site Engineer to join the Earthworks team on-site in Southam, supporting on civil engineering works for the HS2 project. The role involves setting-out, coordinating labour, plant and materials, and supervising junior engineers while resolving technical issues in liaison with senior staff.

You will contribute to programmes, progress reports and cost forecasting, ensuring work meets standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• CSCS card (White/White-Yellow/Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor)
• Demonstration of Site Engineering activities and construction supervision
• Experience in earthworks is essential
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle required

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials
• On-site supervision of junior engineers and setting-out activities
• Identify and resolve technical problems on site with senior team
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure contract requirements and schedules
• Assist with programmes, progress reports, resource/cost plans and forecasting
