Job summary

Lancaster University is seeking an enthusiastic HR Systems Advisor to join the HR Systems team within People and Organisational Effectiveness. This fixed-term role supports our HR and Payroll system, PeopleXD, and the e-Recruitment system, Stonefish, focusing on developing and enhancing recruitment processes.

You will provide specialist system support, collaborate with internal stakeholders and software suppliers, produce Management Information in Excel, and help implement upgrades while

• Interest in HR systems and technology with ability to support users and investigate issues.
• Comfortable working with data and producing Management Information.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication with colleagues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support development and enhancement of recruitment system and processes.
• Coordinate design and implementation of system upgrades and developments.
• Investigate and resolve system issues with software suppliers.
• Produce Management Information using PeopleXD Insight and Excel.
• Ensure reporting complies with information security and data protection.
• Provide training and user guidance for HR and e-Recruitment systems.
• Develop procedures and user guides for effective system use.
• Support HR Systems team with resolving queries.
• Keep knowledge up to date and drive service improvements.
