Job summary

Royal Holloway Students’ Union is seeking a People Officer – Talent & Systems (Interim) to join our People & Culture team, delivering a professional HR service. You will provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle with emphasis on talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, HR systems and workforce data in a 12‑month fixed term role.

With around 50 permanent staff and 200+ casual student staff, you’ll help improve HR systems and processes, support the employee experience, and

• Generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle.
• Focus on talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, HR systems and workforce data.
• Experience delivering accurate HR records and compliant processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle.
• Lead talent acquisition, recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Support HR systems improvements and accurate maintenance of HR data.
• Collaborate with managers to attract, onboard and retain staff.
• Help ensure records and processes are compliant and efficient.
