Job summary

UK National Audit Office is seeking a HR Systems and Business Analyst to shape HR technology and data strategy. The role focuses on improving processes, governance and data quality across HR and enabling responsible AI adoption with human oversight.

You will work in a small HRIS team reporting to the Director of HR Operations and partner across HR and Digital Services. You will apply analytics, process design and HR systems to boost efficiency, inform workforce planning and deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, business admin, data analytics or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in HR analytics, business analysis, or related analytical role.
• Experience with business process mapping, analysis and improvement.
• Understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR functions.
• Proven ability to create impactful visualisations and reports.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and knowledge of key vendors.

Responsibilities

• Consult with HR partners to understand business needs and translate into requirements.
• Map and analyse HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and gaps through data analysis.
• Identify high value use cases and co-create practical solutions.
• Design future-state processes that align with business goals.
• Develop SOPs and documentation to embed processes.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance and HR leaders to ensure system alignment.
