YOURS LINK LIMITED is seeking an HR Generalist in Manchester to drive full-cycle recruitment, design career paths, manage the employee lifecycle, and maintain compliant HR records. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in UK HR operations, a CIPD Level 3+ qualification is a strong advantage, and a right to work in the UK.

  • Solid understanding of UK Employment Law; highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment & Talent Pipeline: manage end-to-end recruitment and build a robust talent pool.
  • Career Development & Planning: help define career paths and guide employee growth.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: onboarding, probation reviews, transfers, renewals and offboarding.
  • Personnel Records & Compliance Audit: maintain accurate files; ensure UK compliance and data protection.
  • Performance Management: oversee appraisals, notify departments, track progress and audit forms.
  • Training & Employee Relations: coordinate induction, training, handle policy inquiries and grievances.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: calculate salaries/pensions for UK employees and ensure HMRC compliance.
  • Other duties: perform any additional duties as required by leadership.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment & Talent Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including expanding sourcing channels, coordinating interviews, and building a robust talent pool to support key organizational roles.
  • Career Development & Planning: Assist in defining career paths for critical positions and provide professional guidance for employees' career growth.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Administer all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, internal transfers, contract renewals, and offboarding procedures.
  • Personnel Records & Compliance Audit: Establish and maintain accurate employee files; ensure all HR records comply with the latest UK employment regulations and data protection standards;proactively monitor and stay updated on changes in UK employment laws and regulations to ensure continuous HR compliance.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the end-to-end performance appraisal process, including notifying departments to submit appraisals, tracking completion status and scoring progress, and auditing performance review forms for accuracy and consistency.
  • Training & Employee Relations: Coordinate induction and skills training sessions; act as a point of contact for policy inquiries, monitor employee morale, and handle grievances or labor disputes impartially.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Accurately calculate salaries and pensions for UK employees; manage payroll distribution and ensure compliance with HMRC tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Other duties: Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 1 year of HR-related experience; prior experience in UK-based HR operations is highly preferred.
  • Professional Qualification: CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) is a significant advantage.
  • Work Authorization: Must possess the legal right to work in the UK; the company does not provide visa sponsorship.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken); ability to accurately handle bilingual legal documents and employment contracts in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of UK Employment Law; highly organized with strong attention to detail, a high sense of confidentiality, and the ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
