heytea is hiring an HR Specialist to oversee UK full-cycle recruitment, employee lifecycle, and HR compliance for our retail operations. The role requires regular store visits and collaboration with operational leaders to drive workforce effectiveness and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3+ years HR experience within the retail sector; high-volume hiring experience preferred.
  • Excellent bilingual communication in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, including key acts.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with discretion and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer management.
  • Support high-volume hiring initiatives through diverse sourcing strategies and talent pipelines.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes in full compliance with UK employment law and GDPR requirements.
  • Coordinate training programmes, track compliance certifications, and identify development needs within the workforce.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and HR policy queries.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, prepare HR reports, and support process optimisation initiatives.
  • Ensure all HR activities align with UK employment legislation, including the Employment Rights Act and Equality Act.
