Job summary

Loughborough University is seeking an experienced HR professional to join as Deputy HR Services Manager. You will lead a high-performing HR Services team and deliver an employee-centred service across the lifecycle.

You will use data insights to drive continuous improvement, support key university processes, and promote equity, diversity and inclusion. A collaborative, proactive approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Significant HR experience in a large complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle and HR processes.
• Proven capability to coach teams and drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing HR Services team.
• Deliver an employee-centred HR service across the lifecycle.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex HR queries.
• Use data insights to inform decision-making and improvements.
• Support university processes and committees, incl. Academic Promotion.
