Job summary

Loughborough Students’ Union is seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide professional HR support across all LSU departments throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to off-boarding.

You will work closely with Department Heads to drive change, develop HR processes, and ensure compliant advisory services. The role requires strong HR knowledge, stakeholder management, and experience with HR systems and payroll. This is a full-time, open-ended post based in Loughborough.

Qualifications

• Strong HR advisory experience
• Excellent UK employment law knowledge
• Ability to build relationships with senior colleagues
• Experience in reviewing and improving HR processes

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR support across LSU departments from recruitment to off-boarding.
• Coordinate with Learning and Development to ensure mandatory training and development.
• Lead change-management initiatives and oversee HR systems, payroll and related finance systems.
