Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Manchester, United Kingdom, is seeking an HR Services Advisor (French Speaking) to act as the frontline contact for HR-related inquiries. The role operates under a hybrid model (2 days onsite, 3 days work-from-home) and supports hiring managers, employees, and HR colleagues with end-to-end service delivery.

Job Title

HR Services Advisor (French Speaking)

The Human Resources Services Advisor is the first point of contact for assigned client groups. The HR Service Advisor acts with considerable independence, discretion, judgment and initiative in providing timely and accurate information and advice on policies, procedures, administrative and operational issues and collective agreements.

What you will do:

• Act as the point of contact for any service related questions for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members and taking care of HR request until closure (end to end incl. tracking and tracing).
• Create high end user experience.
• Provide best in class customer service, aiming to quickly resolve queries and issues, always striving to go the extra mile.
• Be knowledgeable of the business operation and the structure of the business, including key contacts.
• Provide ad-hoc support and advice in the delivery of HR calendar events.
• Use multiple HR and Payroll systems to support the resolution of customer queries.
• Share customer feedback (process related) with Service Specialist; suggest new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations.
• Monitor quality of Transactional work produced by the Hubs, along with key HR Services metrics.
• Initiate changes in Workday as defined by process.

What we are looking for:

• Basic understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Fluency in French and English is essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience within HR operations, employee services, or HR administration in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer focus, with a passion for delivering a positive employee and stakeholder experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage queries effectively and professionally.
• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and service delivery.
