Job summary

Police Scotland are recruiting an HR Programme Tutor to join the Leadership, Talent & Performance team in Scotland. You will design, develop and deliver leadership, development and talent interventions linked to the Police Leadership Development Programme (PLDP) to support promotion readiness and workforce capability.

You will provide 1:1 student support, design assessments, and collaborate across the justice sector to strengthen professional practice and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inputs using a range of delivery skills on Leadership, Development and Talent programmes
• Provide student support and supervision to staff engaged on the recognised Police Scotland promotion qualification
• Manage an agreed group of students; provide regular 1:1 tutorial support taking forward any agreed needs
• Design and implement assessment strategies and instruments consistent with the outcomes of the programme, the needs of the students and of the organisation
• Work in partnership across the justice and public sector to develop strong working relationships and collaborative opportunities
• Recommend appropriate action following any internal audit or external inspection and present compliance updates within specific timescales
