A leading multi-academy Trust is seeking an HR and Payroll Manager to enhance the HR function. This permanent role involves supporting Line Managers, developing HR services, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Opportunities for hybrid and flexible working are available.
HR and Payroll Manager
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours full year or Term Time Only plus 2 weeks
Salary: Grade 14, SCP 34- 35 £43,693 to £44,711 [full year] pro rata for term time only [£38,375.39 to £39,269.50] N.B pay agreement pending.
Reporting to: Director of HR
Location: To be based at the Trust Central Offices in Ulverston [LA12 9BN] or Carlisle [CA11LZ].

Main Duties and Responsibilities: The HR and Payroll Manager will support the effective delivery of the HR function across our growing Catholic multi-academy Trust. As a key member of the central team, the post holder will act as a trusted partner to Line Managers, offering professional advice and support on a wide range of people-related matters. Working closely with the Director of HR, they will play an integral role in the continuous development of the HR service, ensuring consistent, high-quality support aligned with the Trust’s values and strategic objectives.
