HR & Payroll Advisor (Permanent) – Telford

L & C Consulting is recruiting a new, permanent HR & Payroll Advisor in Telford for a well-established manufacturing company. This standalone role is ideal for an experienced HR Advisor with payroll management experience.

The responsibilities include:

1. Providing HR support to line managers and staff
2. Managing recruitment processes, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, and issuing offer letters
3. Processing weekly and monthly payroll runs
4. Calculating wages, bonuses, salary increases, and overtime
5. Handling statutory payments such as SSP, maternity, and paternity pay
6. Issuing tax documents like P45s and P11Ds
7. Resolving payroll queries
8. Updating new starter and leaver information
9. Administrative tasks, including recording holidays and maintaining personnel files

Candidates should demonstrate a mature attitude, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), professionalism, efficiency, methodical working, persistence, confidence, and high accuracy. A stable work history and experience in a similar role are essential. Knowledge of Sage Payroll is advantageous.

The role is accessible from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Perton, Shifnal, Bridgnorth, and Market Drayton.
