Job summary

Winchester College is seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead a high-quality HR operations service, governing the HR information system, data, and core lifecycle processes. The role will drive continuous improvement across HR operations and systems to support efficient service delivery.

The post requires strong experience in HRIS administration, data protection and UK employment law, with a track record of process mapping and project management. CIPD qualification desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR operations or shared services.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably iTrent.
• Experience in HR process mapping and transforming HR processes.
• Experience managing contracts for non-typical or complex working arrangements, including IR35.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Own the HRIS, data, and records and ensure data integrity.
• Produce management information and reporting for leadership.
• Lead HR systems improvements and implement new HRIS modules.
• Oversee records, benefits, contracts and compliance.
• Manage invoice processing, payroll liaison, and budgeting reporting.
• Coordinate training logs and ensure accurate people data.
