Job summary

Winchester College seeks an experienced Senior HRBP (Academic) to partner with Academic teams across Winchester College and the Pilgrims' School. The role acts as a deputy for the HR Director and ensures consistent HR advice across both schools, aligning HRBP activities with strategic priorities.

The post requires CIPD-level credentials and a track record in managing complex employee relations within school environments, including working with unions and safeguarding considerations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience advising on employee relations in complex settings.
• Proven ability to coach senior managers on people issues and employment policy.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to academic managers on day-to-day people matters and policy.
• Coach and guide managers in handling the full range of people issues.
• Manage employee relations casework for the academic client group with compliance.
