Job summary

Quadient is seeking an HR Operations Specialist for a 1-year FTC maternity cover. You will manage the employee lifecycle, prepare contracts and HR documentation, and maintain accurate records across HR systems.

You will conduct right-to-work checks and support payroll and pension administration while upholding GDPR and data accuracy. In this role you will generate HR reports, assist with system testing and improvements, and manage benefits platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
• Proficiency with HR systems/databases and data accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation is desirable.
• Experience supporting payroll/benefits administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and HR documentation.
• Ensure employee records are maintained accurately within HR systems.
• Conduct right-to-work and pre-employment checks.
• Maintain HRIS records and employee databases.
• Ensure data accuracy across HR, payroll and benefits systems.
• Produce regular HR reports and people metrics.
• Support system testing, upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain document retention and GDPR compliance.
• Prepare and submit payroll changes within deadlines, liaising with payroll providers.
• Administer pension schemes including enrolment, re-enrolment and opt-outs.
• Handle pension queries with employees and providers.
• Administer employee benefits including salary sacrifice, private medical insurance, life assurance, wellbeing benefits.
• Prepare data for annual life assurance and benefits renewals.
• Maintain payroll, pension and benefits records and audits.
• Manage QuadPerks platform including support and award administration.
• Coordinate long service awards and employee recognition schemes.
