Job summary

Barclaycard UK is seeking an experienced HR Operations & Payroll Advisor in London to deliver HR services and payroll support during a pivotal transition phase. The role supports onboarding, payroll activity, data integrity, and HRIS administration across the organization within a hybrid work pattern.

The successful candidate will have strong HR process knowledge, payroll experience, and familiarity with HRIS systems, including Workday.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HR services and payroll support to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of core HR processes and employee lifecycle.
• Good understanding of payroll processes and ability to investigate payroll issues.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; Workday is desirable for this separation phase.
• Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR services and support to Barclays colleagues, candidates, alumni and third-party vendors.
• Maintain HR data in the HRIS and provide reporting and analytics.
• Support Day 1 onboarding, payroll transition, and HRIS implementation.
• Help establish robust HR processes for the standalone business.
• Provide timely, accurate HR guidance on policies and processes.
