City of Doncaster Council is seeking an HR Officer to join a busy Human Resources team. You will provide confidential HR advice and support across the Council and help deliver the Workforce Strategy in collaboration with a Senior HR officer.
The role requires a positive attitude, experience in HR, and a willingness to develop knowledge. It offers a stable temp contract until 30 September 2027, 37 hours per week, and opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Working as part of a service delivery team the HR officer plays a vital role in providing HR advice and support across the Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of delivering the Council’s Workforce Strategy. Working closely with a Senior HR officer to support a designated directorate the role provides advice, support and challenge of HR issues and plays an important role in delivering interventions to all employment policies and people related processes. Along with working on employee relations issues the role will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of a modern, efficient and flexible workforce by supporting HR Lead officers with the development and implementation of a variety of corporate strategies.

You will need experience of working in HR and a willingness to develop your knowledge and experience.
