Job summary

Loom Talent are partnering with a fast paced blue-collar organisation based in South Leicestershire to recruit an HR Officer on a temp to perm basis. This generalist HR role covers recruitment, onboarding and ongoing HR support across the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have CIPD level 3 or be working towards it, plus experience in a generalist HR role and the ability to work onsite in a busy operational environment. Prior blue-collar experience would be highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification.
• Generalist HR experience such as HR Assistant/Officer.
• Comfortable working onsite in a busy operational environment.
• Experience in blue-collar organisations would be beneficial.
• A practical, proactive approach with relationship-building and advising managers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a generalist HR and recruitment background who enjoys working across all areas of the employee lifecycle.

The Role

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and inductions
• Provide day to day HR support and advice to managers and employees on a range of people related matters
• Assist with employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems and documentation are kept up to date

What we are looking for

• Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification
• Previous experience in a generalist HR role, such as HR Assistant, HR Administrator or HR Officer
• Comfortable working in an onsite role within a busy operational environment
• Previous experience working within a blue-collar organisation would be highly beneficial
• A practical, proactive approach with the confidence to build relationships and advise managers at all levels
