HR Officer Role

As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in shaping a positive and compliant workplace culture. You’ll provide expert HR support across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, lead recruitment and onboarding efforts, and support employee development and engagement initiatives. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your HR career while contributing to strategic people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide HR guidance and ensure legal compliance
  2. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
  3. Support employee training, development, and performance reviews
  4. Promote employee engagement and handle employee relations
  5. Maintain accurate HR records and support HR operations
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Previous HR experience
  • CIPD part-qualified or working towards certification
  • Experience in employee records management
  • Knowledge of employment law in NI and ROI, recruitment, and training best practices
  • Previous experience in performance management and employee relations
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience handling staff queries and supporting HR projects, with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
  • Effective multitasking and the ability to work under pressure, with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills to ensure smooth HR operations
