Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking a confident HR Manager for a 12-month maternity cover in the Swindon area. You will lead day-to-day HR operations, oversee onboarding and offboarding, and manage payroll in collaboration with the finance team.

You will also support staff, guide managers on employment matters, and drive HR projects currently in the pipeline. CIPD level 5 and experience with an HR system are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable HR experience is required.
• Knowledge of current employment law is essential.
• Experience handling absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances.

Responsibilities

• Manage BAU HR activity
• Onboarding, probation management, offboarding, case management
• You will be responsible for one junior
• Role model processes and procedures
• Update and maintain HR system including records, changes, documentation
• Support and guide staff
• Monthly payroll administration with finance
• Administration of employee benefits
• Cascading of business communications
• Various HR projects in the pipeline
