Job summary

HR Employment Bureau Redditch is seeking a proactive HR Officer to cover a maternity leave contract across multiple depots. You will advise on HR matters, manage contracts, onboarding and pay reviews, and ensure compliance with legislation. Travel to other depots will be required as part of the role.

The ideal candidate has proven HR generalist experience, solid knowledge of employment law, and strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support on HR matters, policies, disciplinary matters and grievances.
• Support redundancy and TUPE processes, including consultation meetings.
• Ensure HR policies remain compliant with current legislation.
• Draft, amend and issue contracts and process variations.
• Prepare job descriptions and contracts for new roles and annual pay reviews.
• Facilitate and support training and development activities.
• Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding for new starters.
• Provide HR data and insights to managers across depots.
• Conduct driving licence and right-to-work checks where needed.
• Travel to other depot locations as required.
