Job summary

Fusion Resources Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our Scarborough site with strategic and operational HR leadership, driving employee engagement and continuous improvement.

You will lead ER cases, manage TU relationships in a unionised environment, and partner with managers to deliver change. The role offers up to £65,000 depending on experience plus car allowance, a pension, bonus, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a senior HR role.
• Experience in manufacturing or fast-paced operations.
• Strong Trade Union engagement experience.
• Experience delivering organisational change programmes.
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

HR Manager

Location: Scarborough Full Time, Permanent Salary: up to £65,000 dep on exp + Car Allowance

A large, well-known manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support operations at its Scarborough site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, people-focused environment where HR plays a key role in driving operational performance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

The Role

The HR Manager will provide strategic and operational HR support to the site, ensuring the delivery of business objectives through effective people management practices. You will develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and initiatives aligned to operational and financial goals while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day HR leadership and support across the site
• Managing complex employee relations cases and supporting managers with HR best practice
• Supporting organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
• Building strong relationships with Trade Unions within a heavily unionised environment
• Coaching and influencing leaders to drive engagement and performance
• Supporting wider group HR initiatives and projects as required
• Ensuring HR policies and procedures remain compliant and effective

About You

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in manufacturing or another fast-paced operational environment.

You will ideally have:

• 3-5 years' experience in a senior HR role
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience managing complex ER cases
• Experience delivering organisational change programmes
• Strong Trade Union engagement experience
• Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the business
• CIPD qualification
• Experience leading large-scale change or culture transformation projects
