Job description

We are proud to be supporting a progressive and values-driven healthcare organisation in their search for a strategic and experienced HR Manager, who is passionate and adaptable, with a keen focus on employee relations.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering HR strategy while leading on employee relations, workforce planning, and cultural development. You ll work closely with senior stakeholders to embed best practices, provide expert HR advice, and champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Our client has experienced exponential growth over the past five years, and now has a turnover of over GBP10m, and 190 employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement all people-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support on all employee relations matters, including complex casework
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted HR advisor at all levels
  • Support change and transformation initiatives such as restructures and TUPE
  • Drive improvements in employee engagement, talent retention, and wellbeing
  • Lead on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the workforce
  • Provide regular data and workforce reporting to senior leadership and the board
  • Manage and develop a small HR team, ensuring high-quality support across the organisation
  • Contribute to the long-term workforce and succession planning strategy
About You
  • Proven HR leadership experience, open to sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of UK employment law and employee relations best practices
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into people-focused solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility
  • CIPD Level 7 is preferred.
  • Comfortable navigating organisational change and ambiguity
  • Passionate about building an inclusive and supportive workplace culture
