Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking an HR Officer / HR Generalist based in Wrexham to support managers and employees within a manufacturing/engineering environment. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and focuses on delivering compliant HR guidance and smooth people processes.

You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, on/offboarding, employee relations, and data reporting to drive engagement and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, quality-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering day-to-day HR support to managers and employees.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations cases including disciplinary and grievance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment matters.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, induction, changes, and offboarding.
• Handle employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems and documentation remain up to date.
• Monitor sickness absence and employee-related data, produce meaningful reports, and help identify trends.
• Assist with HR projects, continuous improvement and the development of HR best practice across the business.
