Slough Borough Council is seeking an HR ER Caseworker to provide practical, professional employee relations advice to managers and staff. The role supports fair decision-making, handles a varied caseload, and works with HR partners and legal colleagues on complex cases.
The position is hybrid (Observatory House/ Slough) with 37 hours per week, DBS basic, and a permanent contract. The closing date is 2 October 2026 and interviews the week of 12 October 2026.

What you’ll be doing:
As an HR ER Caseworker, you will provide practical, professional and customer-focused employee relations advice to managers and employees across the Council. You will help managers deal confidently and fairly with a range of people matters, supporting good decision-making, positive working relationships and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1 April, subject to six months’ service and satisfactory performance, until the maximum spinal column point is reached.
